A large investment firm wanted to upgrade the lighting in their 8,000 square foot Boston office. It was outdated and dim. But there were a few challenges.

WHY THEY INVESTED IN THE AUDACY SYSTEM
The Audacy System teamed up with industry partners to bring the firm a unique solution: a high-performance, low voltage energized ceiling grid, operated through onsite control via wall-mount and remote switches, or offsite control through a mobile app.

Highly flexible The system is wireless and the ceiling grid is powered with low-voltage electricity. That means reconfiguring the lighting is as easy as moving ceiling tiles around.
Ease of installation The Audacy team and electricians had the system installed in two days. Not two weeks. No walls needed to be opened up as there were no wires to connect except from the energized grid to the ceiling tile.
Energy savings The office is surrounded by windows so it made sense for them to implement daylight harvesting, in which the system recognizes the amount of ambient light in a space and adjusts the fixtures accordingly, lowering light levels as needed. The system also offers occupancy and vacancy options, as well as dimming control for different types of fixtures.
Simple to operate Lighting can be controlled from a phone or tablet. There are also onsite remote and wall switches that let employees choose the lighting to suit their needs.
