LED Pioneer, Cree Lighting, Brings New Innovation to LIGHTFAIR International 2019
Company’s full line up of lighting products builds upon its legacy of firsts, transforming blue sky thinking into integrated solutions that deliver on the promise of better light.
Earlier this year, Cree, Inc. and IDEAL INDUSTRIES, INC. announced an agreement for IDEAL to acquire Cree Lighting which will operate as a standalone business.
“Cree Lighting and IDEAL share the same entrepreneurial spirit and are highly complementary as we continue our focus on launching innovative and differentiated products by employing best in class manufacturing and quality practices,” said Craig Atwater, senior vice president and general manager, Cree Lighting.
Known for its state-of-the-art, reliable lighting products, Cree Lighting was the first company to bring LED lighting to the masses, deliver warm white light without compromise, break high efficiency performance barriers, and first to offer a one-button sensor-integrated intelligent lighting platform.
Cree Lighting will be showcasing its newest portfolio of innovative products May 21-23, 2019 at LIGHTFAIR International 2019 in Philadelphia in booth #2119.
“Our product offerings at LIGHTFAIR International 2019 prove that we are continuing to advance the lighting industry today, just as we pushed ourselves to innovate and bring disruptive technology to market when the LED revolution began,” said Atwater. “Our full line of indoor and outdoor lighting solutions demonstrates our unwavering commitment to innovation, performance and reliability that ultimately creates better light.”
The company’s indoor commercial products being exhibited at LIGHTFAIR are led by another industry first from Cree Lighting – the Cadiant™ dynamic skylight – a local standalone system that recreates the look of a sunlit sky with remarkable realism. The Cadiant™ experience recreates the east-to-west arc of the day by bringing the same sensation of natural sunlight into interior spaces.
Cree Lighting is also introducing its Stylus Series, a brand-new complete linear portfolio that offers clean lighting solutions for every ceiling and mounting option, allowing the fixture to blend into the design rather than becoming a focal point. Also on display is Cree Lighting’s LSQ Square Linear that provides multiple light distribution options and 90+ CRI Cree® TrueWhite Technology, producing the truest natural colors.
The new VuePoint™ High-Bay and the KBL Series are being highlighted for indoor industrial and retail applications. The VuePoint High-Bay is a new product concept that provides retail customers with better light to consistently highlight their merchandise while reducing energy cost through a lower fixture count. The KBL Series now comes equipped with a factory-installed emergency battery back-up and full wire guard option to provide added reliability and ruggedness for industrial and warehouse customers.
Cree Lighting leads the way with its outdoor products on display at LIGHTFAIR International 2019. The Traveyo Series joins the company’s award winning RSW Series and XPS Series to provide street light customers with three complete lines, industry-leading technology, cost options and Cree Lighting reliability.
The new Noctura Series of area, flood and wall mount lighting provides maximum optionality for customers. Designed to meet the needs of the design build market, the Noctura Series provides a high performing, competitively priced, readily available in stock, reliable option for commercial and light commercial grade lighting.
Cree Lighting’s indoor and outdoor products are further enhanced by the Cree SmartCast Intelligence Platform™ – the first sensor-integrated intelligent lighting platform of its kind – and by Synapse® SimplySNAP™ control. SmartCast®Technology delivers simplified lighting control for optimal energy efficiency and performance on an open yet secure, future-ready IoT platform that connects networks and data while scaling to meet user needs. SimplySNAP™ control brings complimentary capabilities to Cree Lighting’s outdoor area and high-bay portfolios. Both industry leading innovations provide customers with the easy control they need and the ability to connect with smart building applications to create better business value.
